Father, husband, Realtor, Captain; it seems the longer I live the more titles I get. None mean more to me than "Daddy". I love being home with my children and flying has kept me away too much. I have been a commercial airline pilot for more than 20 years.

I grew up around real estate. My late father, Joe Sr, was a commercial appraiser and residential and commercial Realtor all his life. He wanted me to become a Realtor as a back-up plan for my volatile work as  pilot. For years I resisted.

Airline turmoil post 9/11 plunged my airline into bankruptcy and removed all my defenses. I needed a way to support my family in case my airline went the way of Eastern, Braniff, TWA, Pan Am  and others! Applying myself to real estate with the same effort that went into learning to fly at a professional level; I discovered that it is very rewarding helping people find a home they truly love or sell when it's time to move. 

When I told my friends and family that I was going to be a Realtor they all said they thought I would be great. I suppose they knew me better than I know myself because I honestly did not think I would be any good at it. I have no secret formula just hard work and integrity.

I am constantly amazed at how many people in this profession expect it to be easy. I know how hard my Dad worked and had no misconceptions when I started. I need your business and I will work very hard for you.

• Univ of SC Dec 1982 yes I gladly work with Clemson fans and others too! I have two brothers who are CU alumni.
• USMC Officer active and reserve Honorably Discharged 1999 as Major.
• Commercial Airline Pilot Comair Feb 1990 to Present. Over 16,000 hours of flight time.
• Realtor since February 2006 
• Presently working as hard as possible to transition to Real Estate full-time
• Hoping to be able to leave the airlines by 2011.

Over the course of my life it seems everything I did prepared me to be a better Realtor now. Many years of photography helps me to know how and when to shoot the best pictures. Years of flying for Delta connection carrier Comair has taught me a great deal about places all over the USA. As a former officer in the USMC I know what know the importance of integrity and professionalism. I also know the difference between perceived and real stress. I want you to leave the worrying to me. I will do everthing possible to give you a stress free real estate experience.
